Ucom presents an exclusive New Year offer, providing consumers with the opportunity to purchase a TV or smartphone at a discount of up to 70%. The concept should align with the New Year theme, be kind yet dynamic, and ensure that each frame is imbued with the festive New Year spirit.

Creative Solution
Since TV and social media are saturated with similar content during New Year’s Eve, Doping opted for a strategy designed to stand out from the general hype and make the offer more noticeable.

The concept of “happyUyear” was developed as the core idea, forming the basis for TV advertising, a poster campaign, and a digital campaign.

For the video clip, Doping chose “Carol of the Bells,” one of the most iconic pieces of music associated with the New Year. To its dramatic melody, a “choir” sings about the offer.

In the posters, the dominant color is green—both the most popular New Year’s color and Ucom’s corporate color.
